I live in France as of September 2007 at La Charronniere in the Vienne departement of Poitou Charentes. I have four adult children and a daughter-in-law, Tony Finch married to Rachel Coleman Finch and father of Charles Finch; Sarah Finch engaged to Paul Heath; Lucy Finch medic at Sheffield University graduating 2008; and Isobel Finch Anatomy and Physiology student at Leeds University graduating 2008. I used to live in Beaconsfield before the opportunity to give up working in the Pharmaceutical Industry and the call of France became too strong. I speak French which helps. I have two existing gites and I am creating a third from a cottage on my property, an old mule-breeding farm not far from Poitiers. I love it here! My old dog, Rocky, came with me as did my two goldfish and I have inherited two hens who give me an egg each a day. One of the local farm cats has adopted me and presented me with 4 kittens 5 weeks ago. Sadly one died at 16 days old, to my grief, but the other three are thriving.
